Join Our Board

We are actively recruiting individuals who are strongly committed to improving the maternal mental health of black mothers experiencing pregnancy and infant loss in Georgia. Are you passionate about improving the maternal metal health of black mothers? Would like to stand with us as we strive to provide access to resources, advocacy, and  grief support to these moms in loss? Considering serving on our board of directors. 

Requirements:

We are recruiting board members with the following experiences: 

  • Legal 

  • Web Design & Media 

  • Human Resources

  • Healthcare 

  • Fundraising - Grant Writing, Events, Establishing Partnerships with Corporate and Individual Donors

Current Board Size: 4

Tenure: Board is newly-established; we're looking to expand  our organization

Terms to Be Served: 2 Years 

Annual Financial Contribution - $250, in addition to financial contributions 

Meetings: Quarterly, four times a year 

Committees/Subcommittees: Education, Advocacy, Fundraising, and Public Relations

Express your reasons for wanting to join our team in your cover letter. The new board of directors will be selected this Fall, and your term will officially start in November 2023.
