Meet Our CEO
Hi, I'm Dr. Simbi Animashaun, the heart behind the United By Loss Foundation!
My passion for supporting grieving mothers and families comes from both personal experience and my deep commitment to helping others find comfort and healing after pregnancy and infant loss. I know firsthand that grief can feel isolating, but I also believe in the power of community, understanding, and hope.
With over 15 years in education and a doctorate in Educational Technology, my mission is to create compassionate spaces where mothers and families can navigate their grief with support and resources tailored to their unique journey. Whether through grief support workshops, community events, or online resources, I want every person who walks through our doors, physically or virtually, to feel seen, heard, and never alone.
Beyond my work with the United By Loss Foundation, I'm a mother of 4, an educator, a stroke survivor, and a passionate advocate for those experiencing loss. I believe healing isn't about forgetting; it is about honoring our loved ones while finding ways to move forward with love, resilience, and purpose.
I'm so glad you're here. Whether you need support, ways to get involved, or simply a reminder that you are not alone, the United By Loss Foundation is here for you.
Let's walk this journey together.
